A wireless emergency call box that
gets help at
the push of a button and no monthly airtime fees?
Unmanned fire departments, rescue squads, and smaller police departments can install a call box at the front door to allow direct contact when no one is at the station. Our first installation was for a petroleum storage facility where a call box was installed at the electrically operated gate. After the visitor was identified by 2-way radio, the gate could then be opened from the office. We now offer a radio remote control gate access system that allows the security guard or premise attendant to control gate operation directly from their 2-way radio.
There are three basic Outpost Call Box models. The one with the yellow faceplate, known as the basic model is normally recommended for areas under roof. The unit with the stainless steel faceplate, known as the XT basic is better suited for use when the Call Box will be directly exposed to rain and snow. The standard XT Model has advanced features including the ability to function as a part of the Gate Guard system. All units can operate from six "D" cell alkaline batteries for up to one year or 500 activations before replacement is required. When the batteries require replacement, a low battery alert is transmitted to associated radios.
